Swan Song

The build plan was to recreate a completely trashed 1977 Honda CB750K into a two seat Brat Styled beast. Mathew had owned the bike for decades and although it was completely worn out, he wanted to keep it and use it as a platform for the build. We decided to lengthen the wheelbase by 2 inches to get that “hung out there” look so quintessentially brat style. We wanted the engine to really stand out so a slim minimalist tank was ideal.

We built an all aluminum CB400F styled fuel tank to achieve the little tank/big motor look. Up front I built a double disc brake setup using classic Honda calipers and rotors plus a set of our custom billet triple clamps.

Instruments are analogue mini gauges with our custom aluminum mini gauge mount that allows for ignition, 2 gauges and the choke to reside. The seat was formed from an aluminum base plate just long enough to accommodate Matt and his girl friend! Motogadget M unit handled the electrics with LED headlight and tail light, Brutal Shinko dirt styled rubber with blacked out wheels completed the look. The engine was treated to a complete stock rebuild with the addition of our custom fabricated RRR/Hindle 4-2 Stainless Steel Exhaust.

The build was a lot of fun, The custom gaiters, billet headlight mount, custom chromed headlight nacelle and cut down fender contribute to the classic and brutal old school vibe. Our billet triple clamps combined with new fork legs, tapered roller bearings and race tech internals give the bike a solid sporty feel and the extended wheelbase allow for worry free 100 mph blasts.
